Swallow Tail Butterfly, Mother's day Card

My second card I made it using the Swallow Tail Butterfly Stamp from Stampin Up.  I love this stamp.  I will buy a second one and keep it in case the one I have gets too ugly;)  I do use it a lot.

I used mostly Stampin up Materials:
Whisper White Cardstock, Item # 100730
Pink Pirouette Classic Stampin' Pad. Item # 126956Primrose Petals Core'dinations cardstock
Swallow Tail Butterfly Stamp, Item # 129216
Hello, Doily Clear-Mount Stamp, Item # 122847
Large Oval Punch and Scallop Oval Punch
Versamark pad
Pink Embossing Powder
Heat Tool, Item # 129053
Pink Jewels

I cut a 8.5 x 5.5 piece of Whisper white, a 4.25 x 5.25, piece of Primrose Petals cardstock, 4 x 5 piece of Whisper white cardstock.

Get the 4x5 piece of Whisper white Cardstock, Stamp the Hello Doily Stamp with Pink Pirouette and let it dry. Stamp the Swallowtail butterfly stamp with the Versamak ink, pour the embossing powder over the stamped image.  Remove the excess powder by flicking the back of the paper and set it aside while you put the embossing powder away.  Use the heat tool to heat the embossed image. Punch a piece of whisper white with the large oval punch and a piece of Primrose Petals with the scallop oval punch.  Stamp the sentiment onto the oval punch and assemble the label.  Adhere the Primrose petal cardstock to the card and the add the front of the card as shown in the picture.

Okay, so these are so far the two cards I have worked on.  I loved making them and I think you will enjoy it as well.  And hopefully this is the perfect card for your mother or sister or friend.

Thank you for looking and let me know what you think.

Stampin up Mixed bunch Mother's day Card

Hello

I have been a little down, remembering my mom who passed away over a year ago.  I miss her very much! But I thought, if she were here, I would be making a mother's day card for her.  She loved the cards I make.  So here are a couple of the my creations:

I used mostly Stampin up Materials:
Mixed Bunch - Clear-Mount Stamp set, Item #125537
Whisper White Cardstock, Item# 100730
Rich Razzleberry Cardstock, Item #115316
Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, Item# 131201
Perfect Plum Classic Stampin' Pad, Item# 126963
Basic Black Classic Stampin' Pad, Item #126980
More Mustard Ink Pad (retired) but you can use Curshed curry, Item# 131173

Blossom Punch, Item #125603
Little Leaves Stampin' Up! Sizzlits Die, Item# 114511
Wonderful Mother Stamp set (retired)
1" Circle punch

Other non Stampin Up
Darcie's polka dot embossing folder
Purple and crystal jewels
Yellow scrap of paper for the circle

Directions
Cut a 10x5  and a 4.5 x 4.5 piece of Whisper White paper
Cut at 4.75 x 4.75 piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock
Emboss the 4.5 x 4.5 Whisper White cardstock
Use the little leaves die to cut 2 little leaves.
Stamp and cut the Mother's day label.  I used Stampin up retired items, but I just love these I can't part from them.  You can use other sentiments and labels,  There are many to choose from in the Stampin up product catalog.  Stamp and Punch the 1" circle.

Now you can put it all together... I normally start with my front.  I arranged the leaves so that they will show after I glue the flowers.  Then arrange the flowers and glue them using pup up dots.  Once my front looks they way I want it.  I put the rest of the card together.  You can always follow the order you prefer.

Thanksgiving Card

I wanted a Thanksgiving card, really, an I came out with this one.  I think it turned out nice, right?

I inked the leaves and to be honest with you, I was experimenting with inks and I didn't write down the inks I used, I'm sorry.  I do remember ;) that I stamped the leaves with the En Fracais background stamp, inked them and then I sprayed them with sparkly ink and wrinkled them up and that give them the texture you see.

I used:

Big Shot Autumn Accents die
Circle framelits
En Francais
Blooming with kindness stamp
honeycomb embossing folder
Whisper White and Pear pizzazz Cardstock
Scallop Oval punch
Inks: More Mustard (retired) Pear Pizzazz.
